Comprising six 30-minute episodes, the series features eight interviewees who share their personal and professional insights and experiences regarding their involvement with Scientology.

The Scientology Files, Season 1, Episode 1
The opening episode features Péter Bonyai, the foundation’s trustee, in conversation with Diána Dudás regarding their respective experiences within Scientology. Péter spent ten years within the organization, while Diána spent five years participating in the movement in pursuit of its stated path to total spiritual freedom.
Given the constraints of a 30-minute format, this introductory episode focuses on key structural highlights and outlines the primary insights and conclusions drawn from their respective tenures.

The Scientology Files, Season 1, Episode 3
The third episode of the Scientology Files examines the Sea Organization, which functions as the internal religious order of Scientology. Founded by L. Ron Hubbard in 1967, the entity originally operated aboard a small fleet of maritime vessels, from which its name is derived. Membership is restricted to the movement’s most committed adherents, who sign a symbolic one-billion-year pledge and renounce secular pursuits to dedicate themselves entirely to the organization.
Financial compensation within this structure is nominal—typically ranging from 0 to 50 USD per week depending on organizational revenue—while standard room and board are provided by the institution. The operational framework requires extensive daily commitments of labor. This episode features interviews with two former Sea Org members who provide an analytical look into their tenures, the internal institutional environment, and their firsthand observations of organizational irregularities and systemic practices.
The Scientology Files, Season 1, Episode 4
The Church of Scientology of Hungary was officially registered in the summer of 1991, establishing an organizational presence spanning over three decades. This episode features a retrospective interview with one of the foundational staff members of the newly established branch.
The segment examines the historical evolution of the movement’s operational methodologies over the past thirty years, evaluating changes in its administrative practices. Furthermore, the guest provides institutional insight into the group’s internal disciplinary and governance framework, drawing from their direct experience serving as an “Ethics Officer” during their tenure.
The Scientology Files, Season 1, Episode 5
The foundation frequently receives inquiries regarding the operational footprint of Scientology within the commercial sector and the methods for identifying corporate consultants or executive coaches who utilize its proprietary management systems.
This fifth episode features an interview with an entrepreneur who was an active member of a business network affiliated with the movement. The guest shares firsthand insights into the organizational dynamics of this association, including a review of the specialized training program colloquially referred to as “Jedi training,” which has been analyzed in our prior publications.
The segment investigates the extent to which the organization’s corporate management models and specific internal practices are applied within these secular business networks.
The Scientology Files, Season 1, Episode 6
This episode features a distinguished guest from the field of public administration. He represents one of the few regulatory authorities globally to successfully implement comprehensive enforcement actions within a strict rule-of-law framework to address systemic data privacy non-compliance within the movement.
In this segment, Dr. Attila Péterfalvi, President of the National Authority for Data Protection and Freedom of Information (NAIH), discusses the administrative investigations conducted by the authority and the regulatory insights gained from those proceedings.
Additionally, the episode provides an objective analysis of the organization’s internal vetting processes, the specific nature of its data collection protocols for high-level positions, and its institutional responses during official statutory audits.
